Dr. Perry Wilson
Dermatologist || MBBS FACD
Dr Perry Wilson is a specialist dermatologist who has practised in Toowoomba since 1992. Originally from Brisbane, he completed his medical degree and specialist dermatology training there before undertaking a fellowship in Mohs micrographic surgery in Sydney.
Over more than three decades, Dr Wilson has built an extensive surgical dermatology practice and was instrumental in establishing Australia's first rural-based Mohs surgery unit. Based in Toowoomba, he continues to care for patients from across southern Queensland and northern New South Wales.
Dr Wilson is now dedicated to surgical dermatology (he does not currently treat general/medical dermatology), with a particular focus on Mohs micrographic surgery, skin cancer excisions, reconstructive surgery and the surgical management of benign and malignant skin lesions.
He is committed to providing personalised, high-quality surgical care while achieving the best possible functional and cosmetic outcomes for his patients.
Dr. Jenna Sullivan
Dermatologist || MBBS FACD
Dr Sullivan is a Specialist Dermatologist and Fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists with a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in melanoma research from the University of Queensland.
She graduated from the University of Wollongong Graduate School of Medicine (MBBS) in 2014 and completed dermatology electives at Mount Sinai Hospital, New York, and St Vincent's Hospital, Sydney. She undertook specialist dermatology training across leading Queensland hospitals, including the Queensland Institute of Dermatology, Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital, Sunshine Coast University Hospital, Mater Hospital Brisbane, Queensland Children's Hospital and Princess Alexandra Hospital.
Dr Sullivan's research focused on the genetics of melanoma and has been published in national and international journals. In 2018, she was awarded the Bauer Foundation Prize for Best Research Paper at the Australasian College of Dermatologists Annual Scientific Meeting.
With her background in melanoma research, Dr Sullivan has a particular interest in high risk skin cancer surveillance in addition to complex acne management.
Originally from regional Queensland, Dr Sullivan lives in Toowoomba with her husband and young family. She is committed to providing personalised, evidence-based dermatological care to patients of all ages.
Dr. Alison Lewin
Dermatologist || MBBS FACD
Dr. Alison Lewin is a specialist dermatologist, with a fellowship from the Australasian College of Dermatology.
Alison grew up in Toowoomba, Queensland, and following a Bachelor of Exercise Science at Bond University on the Gold Coast, she relocated to Victoria to obtain her Doctor of Medicine (MD) from the University of Melbourne in 2014. She returned to Queensland as a surgical resident at the Royal Brisbane & Women’s Hospital, followed by a surgical year at Toowoomba Base Hospital.
Alison completed her Dermatology specialist training at the Royal Brisbane & Women’s Hospital in 2023. She has trained at the Queensland Institute of Dermatology, Sunshine Coast University Hospital, Mater Hospital and Queensland Children’s Hospital.
She has a special interest in surgical and non-surgical skin cancer management, as well as paediatric dermatology, acne, vulval skin disorders and medical dermatology.
Alison is outgoing, warm and friendly, and prides herself on identifying each patient’s individual needs to tailor their care accordingly. Outside of work, Alison, her husband and son love to travel, read, do home renovations and enjoy good food and wine with family and friends whenever possible.
Dr Lewin currently consults at Toowoomba Dermatology part-time.
Unfortunately, due to exceptionally high demand, Dr Lewin is currently unable to accept new patient referrals in Toowoomba. To facilitate earlier access to care, Dr Lewin would be pleased to see patients at her Brisbane consulting rooms Pitney Dermatology and Ascot Dermatology.
